Daisy

Hi guys! I really hope you notice the difference in my photos today... I seriously took so much extra effort to try to get them the best quality I could- because to be honest for a while I didn't know what I was doing when it came to putting up pictures! Haha. I hope all that work wasn't in vain!

Dress & Belt- Charlotte Russe ; Tights & Shoes- Kohls

Brian and I went to Lafyette Village again today, for these pictures, a little yummy food and some good ole' antiquing. I was excited to finally wear this dress, since it's one of my favorites, and I wear it a lot actually although you have never seen it here!

This picture is for Amanda, who I think can understand/laugh at this one!

I really have to thank all of you too for how sweet you are. Really. Your comments put such a huge smile on my face, you're so overly nice too me. I really love every one of you!

Quick post today since My mom, brother, Brian and I are going to see Dinner for Schmucks soon. I hope it's as hilarious as Steve Carrell leads it on to be!

A Spindle, A Darkness, A Fever, And a Necklace

So today Brian and I may or may not have trespassed to get these pictures... It was done with good intentions though right? Hah. I suppose standing outfront of somewhere and taking outfit pictures isn't really trespassing, but it still felt exciting and rebellious (I'm a dork..). I couldn't believe I hadn't thought of taking pictures here before, since it's such a hidden yet spectacular place. To be honest noone really knows what the massive building is, but my dad likes to call it the X-MEN school for mutants building (Or whatever that place is called in the comics.) I think it was an old Abbey, but none-the less it's like a castle! ( Wish I got a full picture of the whole thing.. D: )

Dress- Charlotte Russe ; Tights- No idea... ; Shoes- Target ; Belt- Mom's ; Necklaces- Charlotte Russe, Betsey Johnson, & My Great Aunt's

And just because last post I know you were missing my floral sleeved dresses so much... (hahaha..) here is my latest addition to my dress collection. I actually think it was supposed to be a long babydoll tunic, but honestly I think it's better as a dress, and for $22 I was sold!

I don't know it you can tell but I recently died my hair, and after editing these pictures it really looks like my hair is much lighter on top than the bottom... I used dark brown color and it looks almost red ontop... Oh well, I suppose it doesn't look TOO bad..

And lastly- this is the state of my craft area as of now. Pretty much almost all my pieces are cut out for the quilt! (A LOT OF PIECES...) I have put a good few hours into just the cutting so by the time I finish I will be so overly happy it will probably be disgusting haha!

Have a great day everyone... I'm off to cut more pieces of fabric and hopefully start some sewing!

When the Curious Girl Realizes She Is Under Glass

Today Brian and I went to Lafyette Village again! They have the best cafe and antique store there! After taking outfit pictures and doing a little shopping (I got two adorable deer salt and pepper shakers!) we stopped at the cafe (Everything Homemade) and got a chocolate chip cookie frapp (without the coffee- I'm a tea person!)! Crazy right?! The girl literally took a massive cookie and threw it in the blender with ice, milk, and vanilla frapp mix. It was DELICIOUS! I'm going to have to try this out at home... and if it comes out just as awesome I will post a recipe for you guys!!

Dress- Ruche ; Shoes & Headband- Target ; Necklace- Made by me.

So I don't know if you have noticed... But I have been kind of overly obsessed with ShopRuche.com lately. I don't know if it's their incredible dresses, reasonable prices, or their awesome customer service, but I am so hooked on them! I now have 4 dresses from them, and am waiting on a very special necklace that should be arriving early next week! If you haven't checked out their site ever I highly suggest it, though they make me spend way too much money haha! This dress is my most recent purchase from there (besides my necklace), and I love how dainty and light the fabric and floral pattern are! It's unlike any other dress I have!

... And these are my cute deer that I purchased today!! I think it's very suiting I got these considering my new tattoo! I just can't get enough of deer, especially vintage ones, they are so beautiful!

And on another note... I wanted to say hello to all my new followers! Wow!! I can't believe I have almost 75 and it's only been about a month. You guys are really really amazing, I truly appreciate all the nice things you have to say. This blog makes me very happy!!

Stray Dog Freedom

Hello everyone! I'm so happy that the weekend is completely over! I know that sounds strange, but I always work the weekends and usually during the week I have my free days. Plus, on top of it, I was really sick all weekend, so sick I called out of work for the first time. (and I have been there 3 years!) Thankfully I feel a lot better now and I don't work again till Saturday, so I have lots of time to spend and relax with Brian!

Today we went on a long walk on a trail called Hyper Humis with my dog Slinky and it is amazingly gorgeous. It's a trail that is lined with all different beautiful wild flowers and even opens up to a land bridge! It was truly incredible to be walking with water on both sides of me! I was also very excited because I received both a new purse and dress yesterday in the mail! Brian was sweet enough to buy me this dress from Ruche, and I used an awesome 15% discount on this purse from Spotted Moth (which is absolutely lovely in person!)

This post is really image heavy (sorry!). But today it was too nice out and so many pictures came out awesome.

Dress- Ruche ; Tights- Kohls ; Shoes- Urban Outfitters ; Purse- Spotted Moth.

This is my little angel faced puppy, Slinky. Well - he's not really a puppy, he's actually 12 and a 1/2 years old! But he is still the most energetic dog. He was loving this long walk, I rarely take him out places like this so it was a special treat!

This is the amazing land bridge (with my two favorite boys!). I mean we have all been on land with water between but this strip of land was so small and the shore came right up to the grass line. It was beautiful. Slinky enjoyed splashing in the water and exploring all over.

It really was a fun time. Brian and I need to find more awesome secluded places like this to take long walks with our dogs! After this we went to a place called Everything Homemade where they have the most amazing cannolis! I obviously got one of those and a delicious strawberry smoothie, and we sat at a cute picnic table with Slinky while multiple families and little kids ran up to give the 'weiner dog' a visit. Hah. It's so funny how popular Slinky is when I bring him out places, I guess it's because he's so unique looking with his long body and his cute puppy face. I have just seen him everyday since I was 9 so sometimes I forget what an adorable little dog he really is.

Well now I am off to spend more much needed time with my Brian! Have a wonderful day everyone!
