Bat for Lashes

So I am officially back from vacation! I seriously thought I would have an awesome post with tons of pictures, but I really wasn't feeling it AT ALL down there. Sometimes I take too many pictures on trips, sometimes none. Sorry guys this time was the latter! I figured before I do another outfit post (and because I want to color my hair first!), I'd mix it up a little bit. Today I wanted to do a post about the fabulous Natasha Khan of Bat for Lashes. Seriously, she is amazing. I don't listen to really any girl bands, but she comes close to topping my Last.FM account. (Click that link to see what I'm listening too!)


Not only is Natasha Khan an extremely talented girl who does it all, she is so exotically pretty and stylish. I really envy her style. (Her and Zooey Deschanel really convinced me to have some awesome full bangs!) I can't describe it but, I feel as though I could never pull off her cool vibe so well as she does. And on the plus side her music is so dark and complex it really makes me want to live in a tiny dark wood cabin and make potions and cover everything with glitter. (Yes in other words her music makes me wish I was a old witch in the woods..)

    Oh, what fun! I love all of the pictures you've posted, and I'm excited to check her music out! Her style, or perhaps I should say the pictures of her, really remind me of MGMT. Sans, you know, the whole boyband effect.

    I love her eye makeup too! I mean the headpieces she has going on are pretty wonderful too... I'm totes friending you on Last.FM! Haha, it's been for-ev-er since I've been on that site (except I've still been scrobbling!)
