I only have one decent shot of my outfit- so here it is! I was pretty darn excited when I found this skirt at H&M for only $5.95. I mean seriously how much better can you do for a new skirt?! Frustrated with all my clothes today I finally pulled this top out of the deepest depths of my drawer and felt like a completely new person (look no floral... well except the tights!) I put them together and voila! I feel like they were a cute little fashion match made in heaven!
Shirt- Marshalls ; Cardian- Target ; Skirt- H&M ; Tights- Bakers ; Belt- Mom's ; Shoes- UO
My mom and I also went down to JoAnns fabric store today and I got some really awesome fabric to start my quilt with! I have never made one before so my mom made sure to spoil me with a cutting mat, rotary cutter, and some other goodies. Along with this she treated me to an awesome quilt book, another book (Lolita) that has been on my to read list way too long, and two perfect Essie nail polishes (Chubby Cheeks and Lapis of Luxury). Mom's can be so overly generously sweet.
I'm off to start my quilt now, which will consume my full attention this weekend. See you all Monday! Xo!

Oh my goodness Caitlyn, those fabrics are amazing! You better show us the finished product :] My mom is actually working on a quilt too and the fabrics she is using if from my great grandparents old blankets/curtains/sheets/shirts etc. It's pretty neat.
ReplyDeleteI wish there was an H&M here, blah.
I am so jealous of your pretty Essie polishes, Caitlyn. I love so many of their shades but unfortunately they don't sell it here. Actually they might but I bet it costs too much.
ReplyDeleteAnyway this is a refreshing new look for you. Not as pretty and girly as your usual but still very put together :) Have a good weekend!
